Amy Schwartz is a designer specializing in branding and digital experiences. She is currently the Creative Director of Bright Bright Great and Avondale Type Co. Previously she was the Design Director at Cards Against Humanity and its sister company, Blackbox.

Amy was named one of PRINT Magazine’s 15 Under 30: New Visual Artists in 2017. She was also the winner of Command X at the 2015 AIGA National Design Conference; other recognition includes the 2016 Emerging Designer Award by AIGA Chicago, 2016 Finalist for Young Designer of the Year by the Net Awards, and the recipient of the AIGA What’s Next Grant in 2014.

She currently serves as the Co-Vice President of Member Experience for AIGA Chicago and an adjunct professor at DePaul University.

Amy frequently speaks at conferences, universities, and museums, including Brand New Conference, HOW Design Live, and the Denver Museum of Art. Amy has been a guest lecturer at the Cranbrook Academy of Art, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, DePaul University, Oakland University, Lawrence Technical University, and Champlain College. She has facilitated workshops for universities, conferences, and clients, including Vox Media. Her work has been shown at the Cranbrook Art Museum, INOVA Gallery, and the Historic Water Tower Gallery in Chicago.

Amy has an MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art and a BA from DePaul University.
